Meet the team
Mike has worked within the recruitment industry since 1995 having worked as both a top-billing consultant before moving on to a managerial and directorial role. As a member of the executive management team Mike helped a small business grow into a £300m listed company where he was responsible for growing a business unit from scratch into a £75m perm & contract division where he oversaw 50 members of staff.
Having launched 3R in 2013 to help ambitious individuals launch their own recruitment companies, Mike and the team are proud to now be involved with many flourishing businesses.
Director of Operations
Chris has been involved in Technology for over 20 years having founded and developed a market leading cloud back-up business. His hands-on knowledge of a wide range of technology allows him to bridge the gap between product understanding, service delivery and client satisfaction.
Chris is a strong advocate of the notion that Cloud based technology allows business owners and their staff to establish a work life balance dependent on their individual goals and feels that this is often an overlooked key in the pursuit of success in business. With the flexibility this working method brings Chis has been able to fuel his passion for building business from an initial idea and most of all he believes it allows business owners to have fun whilst pursuing their financial and lifestyle goals.
Director of Finance
Neil is an experienced finance professional with over 10 years’ experience in the recruitment industry. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Accountants in England and Wales (ICEAW) , Neil qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a ‘Big 6’ accountancy firm in 2000. After 5 years with a Nasdaq listed technology company, Neil moved to a senior finance position at what has become one of the UK’s largest recruitment agencies growing from £150m annual turnover to £650m. During that time he made key contributions to the company’s flotation on AIM and several subsequent acquisitions.
The experience Neil gained managing in a finance department that pays over 7,000 contractors each week has provided Neil with a full understanding of the potential financial challenges recruitment agencies can face day to day and in the longer term. Furthermore, having worked alongside experienced recruiters in both the permanent and contract recruitment sectors, Neil is able to provide the financial knowledge and expertise that recruiters need to operate successfully and compliantly. Neil also possesses strong problem solving ability and is a strong believer in developing technology to streamline and simplify finance processes and controls.
Head of Technology
Alex has worked in system development within the recruitment industry for over 9 years, 7 of which on bespoke billing and payroll solutions processing a turnover of more than £8 million per week.
His experience working closely with recruitment sales teams has bolstered his vision that payroll and invoicing systems should be as much of a feature-filled selling point for your clients, as they are a robust reporting platform for recruiters. Focusing on ease of use, Alex strives to make systems which are unobtrusive and as automated as possible, leaving you to focus on growing your business instead of administering that which you’ve already won.
With a strong drive to enable our recruiters break new ground, Alex prides himself on being able to understand and deliver complex metrics and data quickly.
For the last 15 years Kim has worked in both Technical and Commercial Recruitment as an Account Co-ordinator and 360 Recruiter.
Her strengths are Account Management, Communication and providing genuine Customer Care. During her time at an AIM listed Recruitment company; Kim lead and co-ordinated teams to deliver talent to multi-disciplinary consultancies across the UK, enabling business growth from a central hub.
Kim’s role within 3R is to engage, grow and maintain strong working relationships. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of the business and is able to identify the best services for you- whether that be the full 3R recruitment start-up, 3R investments or 3R finance package.
She oversees the implementation of new associates and provides ongoing customer support. In 3R Finance she is also focussed on capturing feedback and coordinating a programme of continuous improvement.
